okay does anyone know the best way to prepare an apple to feed to a budgie?
I’ve been washing them
then cutting them into thin slices and clipping the slices to the sides of the cage
but I want to know if there is a better way so that I can be sure my budgie is actually eating them?
The budgie has to get used to the apple slice before he will be prepared to taste it. If your budgie is tame you might get him interested by eating apple yourself while he is sitting near to you. Another way to attract his attention is by putting some millet on top of it.
